Resume Skills Workshops · For Sororities

Teach your members resume skills.
Not resume shortcuts.

A live, collaborative workshop that turns sorority leadership into resume proof points employers recognize and gives members a repeatable skill they keep for life.

Why It Matters

Our skills workshop is built for sorority members with a focus on translating meaningful sorority, academic, and other experiences into strong resume proof points that resonate with employers. Creating a resume requires a type of writing your members have never been formally taught.  A resume also has to clear two hurdles: an applicant tracking system that screens for structure and keywords, and a recruiter with a two-minute review window.

Our Philosophy

We Teach Achievement-Based Writing

Your members are capable, confident writers with real experience. But a resume asks for something new: concise proof points that show not just what they did, but why it mattered. An additional challenge is translating sorority terms into plain language any recruiter can understand.

Gradience Labs gives members a method for (1) uncovering the scope, numbers, and outcomes hiding inside chapter roles like recruitment, philanthropy, finance, and standards, and (2) writing clear descriptions with impacts recruiters will recognize at a glance.

The Difference

We Don't Ghostwrite.

Most resume help today comes in one of two forms: a downloadable template or an AI tool. Students fill in the blanks or upload a draft. Both produce a finished document.

But neither teaches a student the repeatable skills to write a resume and build on it.

AI can have a role in this process, but it must be balanced with accuracy, credibility, and authenticity. We teach that balance, so each member's resume retains their unique voice.

Our Methodology

Three frameworks, one repeatable system.

Every workshop is built on three teaching tools that work together:

Experience
Translation Matrix
STAR
Framework
Three interlocking rings representing an ongoing, iterative process
Lens of
the Reader
By writing their resumes with us collaboratively, students gain practical know-how that they can use on every internship, academic, and job application that follows.
How It Works

A workshop that meets members where they are.

Before

Prep Work

Members bring a current resume to the session or complete a short intake form, so no one is starting from a blank page.

During

Live Group Session

We teach members how to apply the STAR framework, Experience Translation Matrix, and LCCA lenses. Together, we diagnose real leadership examples and provide insight and tools to improve their drafts.

After

A Finished Resume + Lasting Skills

Participants apply what they learned to complete their resume and submit it to our Gradience experts for a final reivew. In return, they receive a personalized report with guidance to support their continued growth.
